SARATOGA BATTLEFIELD’S 22nd ANNUAL FROST FAIRE
Frost Faires were hugely popular in the 1700s—help us carry on the tradition at the 22nd annual Frost Faire at the Battlefield! Snow or no snow, come enjoy the 22nd annual Frost Faire on Saturday, January 28th, from 11 AM to 3 PM at Saratoga National Historical Park (the Battlefield) located on Routes 4 and 32 in Stillwater. All activities are free!
Inspired by Frost Faires in 1700s England (during the mini-ice age), this is an event that offers a wide variety of activities such as tubing (with snow), so bring your snow tube or plastic sled and enjoy the NEW sledding area behind the visitor center, horse-drawn carriage rides to Tour Stop 1 and back, a noontime nature walk and scavenger hunt, winter soldiers fire muskets, and enjoy a campfire and hot cocoa. Indoor activities include crafts, games, dancing, and music!
For more information on this or other events at Saratoga National Historical Park, please call the Visitor Center at 518-670-2985, check their website at www.nps.gov/sara or find them on Facebook and Twitter “@SaratogaNHP.”
