Winterfest Festivities Are Here



2016 Saratoga Winterfest festivities kickoff this weekend! There will be live entertainment, kids activities, delicious food and more. Family fun for all ages and a not-to-be-missed annual event.

12th Annual Winterfest Wine & Beer Tasting

Sample a selection of delicious & affordable wines and beers paired with a lavish display of savory hors d’oeuvres. Proceeds to benefit Wesley Foundation and Relay for Life: American Cancer Society. $20 Single Admission or $30 per couple.

 
CANdlelight Ski and Snowshoe

Saratoga Spa State Park

Families are invited to enjoy an evening at Saratoga Spa State Park’s CANdlelight Ski and Snowshoe fundraiser event.  Admission is a minimum of two canned food items.  In addition to a one-mile candlelit loop, the park will be offering a bonfire, ice skating and hot food and drinks.  Snowshoes will be available to rent.  This event will take place at the Warming Hut.  Food will be donated to the Franklin Community Center Food Pantry.  Please call Alli Schweizer at (518) 584-2000 Ext. 116 for more information.

 
18th Annual Chowderfest

Saratoga’s Annual Chowderfest is one of the area’s most highly anticipated events of the year. Family-friendly, fun and utterly delicious, Chowderfest features more than 90 vendors—including Saratoga County’s best restaurants and caterers—who open their doors to the public and serve hot bowls of chowder to event goers.  Sponsored by Saratoga Convention & Tourism Bureau, the 18-year anniversary of Saratoga Chowderfest will feature live music, face painting and, of course, a wide variety of chowders. Even dogs are welcome—establishments offer doggy chowder and photo ops for your four-legged friends.

 
19th Annual Bartender’s Ball “Fire and Ice”

Dress to impress in a cool white, an ice blue, or a fiery red!  The evening will feature dinner, gambling tables provided by the Lions Club of Saratoga, and dancing to the live music by the Audiostars. $60 per person, tables of 10 encouraged.


Wilton Wildlife’s Winterfest

Join us outside for a day of snowy fun! Snowshoes and Cross Country Skis will be available for rental from the Information Cabin in Parking Lot #1 on Scout Road. Rentals are $5.00 per pair for use during the event or free (as always) for members. After stepping out on the trails, there will be a bonfire at the old Scout Camp’s Council Fire circle where participants can warm up by the bonfire with hot cocoa and s’mores. No registration is necessary for this drop-in, FREE event.

In its 29th year, the Flurry Festival in Spa City has engaged thousands in dance and music from all over the world.
